Abstract
Objective:To investigate the relationship between the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),Matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9),Tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) in serum and amniotic fluid of preterm women with preterm premature rupture of membranes. Methods: The levels of IL-6,MMP-9,TNF-α were detected in serum and amniotic fluid of 30 cases with preterm premature rupture of membranes(PPROM group) and 20 cases of normal pregnant women(control group) by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA);and all the embryo lemma were histopathologically confirmed after delivery. Results: The levels of IL-6,MMP-9 in serum and IL-6,MMP-9,TNF-α in amniotic fluid in PPROM group were significantly higher than those in control group(P0.05).In PPROM group, the levels of IL-6,TNF-α(P0.05),MMP-9(P0.01) in serum and amniotic fluid of women with chorioamnionitis were significantly higher than those in non-chorioamnionitis(P0.05).Conclusion: The levels of IL-6,MMP-9,TNF-αin serum and amniotic fluid of women with PPROM are associated with the onset of preterm labor caused by infection, and their levels are valuable to identify the chorioamnionitis.
