A Study of Function Division of Geopark—By the Example of the Recommending Provincial Bataishan Geopark in Wanyuan,Sichuan

Establishment of geopark is one of effective methods of protecting and rational development of geoheritage.This paper deals with purpose,principle and texture of function division of geopark in terms of sustainable development and viewpoint of scientific development and by the example of the recommending provincial Bataishan geopark and divides the Bataishan geopark into protection district,sightseeing district and service district.This division is favorable to protection and development of geoheritage and lays a solid foundation for rational plan of the Bataishang geopark.
