Abstract
FENG Wei-lin's prose and YU Qiu-yu's differ markedly in such aspects as subject selection,theme expression,artistic conception and language style. All these differences are attributed to that in discourse,political discourse,which is closely linked to the writer's identity of an official,or cultural discourse,which is closely related to the writer's identity of a cultural scholar. Thus,a writer's subjectivity forms the key element in his style.
