The Thinking and Suggestion to Tourism Higher Education in Guangxi

In recent years,with rapid development of tourism in our country,there has been great progress in tourism higher education in Guangxi.However,after China entered WTO,tourism in Guangxi is facing great challenge which has never met before.As a big tourism province,Guangxi has to face the challenge.As known by all,the nature of the competition is a competition among talents needing to be cultivated,however,the status of tourism higher education in Guangxi can be adapted to development of tourism in the future only by reforming.On the basis of conclusion to former problems existing in tourism higher education in Guangxi,the suggestions are put forth as to establishing independent tourism college and instructing committee of Guangxi tourism education,and as well as some personal views on construction of teaching staff,arrangement of a major courses and establishing the model of higher education which combines producing study and research.
