Abstract
Objective: To establish a cell model for the expression of human Kv1.3.Methods: pcDNAHKv1.3 was transfected into human embryonic kidney cells(HEK293) with lipofectamine2000.The expression of human Kv1.3 gene was detected by fluorescence microscope and whole cell patch clamp. Results: The expression of human Kv1.3 gene was observed by fluorescence microscope 2 days after the transfection and the encoded currents were recorded by whole cell patch clamp 3 days after the transfection. Conclusion: It provides a good eukaryocytic expression system and cell model for the study of human Kv1.3 to transfect pcDNAHKv1.3 into HEK293 cells, which helps to develop new drugs for the treatment of autoimmune diseases.
