On Reformation of Higher Vocational English Teaching

This paper makes an inquiry into the English teaching of higher vocational and analyses the present condition of English teaching.It's not satisfying and need imperative reform.It advances that we should change the teaching ideas as quickly as possible,probe into the characteristics of vocational education,reform the teaching pattern in class,change the textbooks,improve the quality of teachers,focus on fostering of the teachers,and establish various English-study environment,in order to improve the teaching quality,running the school with the vocational features,and foster required talents with superior skills.It's urgent for the reform and development of English education in vocational colleges.
