Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between coronary artery lesion and atrioventricular block in patients with acute inferior myocardial infarction. Methods 57 patients with acute inferior myocardial infarction were divided into AVB( n =27) and NAVB( n =30)groups. The number of branches of coronary artery involved, and multivessel stenosis between the two groups were compared. Results Right coronary artery was the deciding related artery of acute inferior myocardial infarction. The stenosed infarction related artery was relevant with atrioventricular block in those patients, and it was the only independent risk factor to predict atrioventricular block in acute inferior myocardial infarction patients. Conclusion The stenosed infarction related artery was the only independent risk factor for prediction of atrioventricular block in patients with acute inferior myocardial infarction.
