Tao Yuanming was only famous as a hermit,not a famous man of letter before his death.During 100 years after he died,the Song and Liang people's understanding and evaluation of Tao Yuanming during the Southern Dynasties experiences a literary promoting movement of triple jump: from a hermit to a latent poet,finally an outstanding poet,which leaves much precious material for the research on Tao Yuanming and which is the beginning history of accepting Tao Yuanming.After the Tang and Song Dynasty there is not better material than this.
