Interpreting Some Cultural Words in Quansong Shi(Poetry of Song Dynasty)

Making good use of literature datum and the notes by the poet self,this paper has studied several cultural words in Quansong Shi(Poetry of Song Dynasty),such as 横枝(hengzhi),浇山(jiaoshan),泥滑滑(nihuahua),寿发(shoufa),眼食(yanshi).We know that some words or their entries have not been included in Hanyu Dacidian(The Great Dictionary of Chinese),such as 浇山(jiaoshan),泥活活(nihuohuo),眼食(yanshi).Words 横枝(hengzhi) and 泥滑滑(nihuahua) can help complement the dictionary.And some words,such as 泥滑(nihuahua),寿发(shoufa),can advance examples of the dictionary.Thereby sorting out these cultural words would offer reference to the appreciating and studying poetry of Song Dynasty,and help the codification and revision of dictionaries.It is also significant for the research of the history of Chinese,especially the history of the vocabulary of modern Chinese.
