Abstract

Act of self in protection for the right in rem is a behavior that the person depends on himself to protect his right in rem, while damages the injuring person's property, which belongs to lawful act. There are four components in act of self.And there exsist differences of nature, purpose, state between act of self and self-defense. After brought into effect, act of self can produce different effects with the different conditions.
