Abstract
This paper is a historical study of the editing of A History of the Ming Dynasty in the Shunzhi Period of the Qing Dynasty and traces its site and editing principle based on the records of Chen Zhilin and Fu Weilin.It concludes that this editing is a kind of data-collection in nature,though there might be a manuscript for it,and the political taboos is the key factor affecting its editing.
