198 ADR reports associated with traditional Chinese medicine injections

Abstract

Aim To analyze 198 ADR reports associated with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) injections from January 2005 to September 2008 for providing information in clinical application.Method 198 ADR reports associated with TCM injections from January 2005 to September 2008 in Man′anshan were analyzed retrospectively.Result Incidence rate of ADR is higher in children and old people than other age groups.The majority of reported ADR are skin damages.Conclusion ADR caused by TCM injections can not be ignored,so ADR should be intensively monitored and treated timely in clinical treatment.
