On Bian Zhilin's Poetry Translation and his Theory of Rhythm

In the modernization of Chinese poetry Bian Zhilin plays a vital role in it.His poetry is praised as a mixture of the classical Chinese poetics and that of modern Europe with far-reaching influence.He is also a well-known translator and a critic of poetry.This paper,from the perspective of the construction of the Chinese culture and literature,has made a research of Bian Zhilin's poetry translation in the light of his own theory to inquire into the significance of poetic rhythm and to probe into the enlightenment we may get from the poet.
