Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effects of sequential culture technique on development of mouse embryos in vitro. Methods: 2 cell mouse embryos were allotted randomly to sequential culture media and conventional medium. To compare the 8 cell embryos' forming rate, morula forming rate and blastocyst forming rate between these 2 groups. Results: There were significantly higher 8 cell embryos, morula and blastocyst forming rate in sequential media group (70.5%, 68.2%, 65.9%) as compared with those in conventional medium group (45.7%, 45.7%, 34.3%). Conclusion: Sequential culture system is more suitable for the development of mouse embryos.
