Separation,Purification and Structural Elementary Studies of Polysaccharide from Compound Erjingling

Abstract

Objective The polysaccharides were separated from compound Erjingling and its structures were studied.Methods The Compound Erjingling polysaccharides was extracted from Rhizome of Polygonatum Kingiarnum and Fructus Lycii,by hot water extraction,ethanol precipitation isolated,purified through DEAE-cellulose,gel permeation column chromatography and the structures were analyzed by HPLC,IR and GC.Results Two polysaccharide components 2JLⅠ and 2JLⅡwere obtained,2JLⅠ was mainly composed of arabinose,xylose,galactose,mannose and glucose,and its relative molecular weight was 811000.2JLⅡwas composed of galactose,glucose and mannose,and its relative molecular weight was 2000.Conclusion It was the first time to extract and isolate two kinds of pure polysaccharide from compound Erjingling,and the experimental methods provid foundation for the research of Compound Erjingling polysaccharide afterward.
