Abstract
Professional sport plays an important role in the world sport development.As result of commercialized and market-oriented sport,professional sport league becomes an institution device and effective mechanism supporting the promotion of professional sport in a history of almost 100 years.The causes of formation of the league,institutional arrangement and operation mechanism,reasons of the emphasis on institution rather than technique,conditions of professional football market and conditions of league operation are all required.Based on the economic nature of professional league,the paper reveals the internal dynamic of the league and its institutional self-implementation,in order to seek institutional reasons for problems in China's professional football and enrich the theory contents of professional sport league institution.
