Modification of Epoxy Toughening

Abstract

Research progress of epoxy toughening is reviewed.A method of toughening epoxy resin(thermoplastic resin toughening,thermotropic liquid crystal polymer toughening,core-shell toughening of polymer particles,such as toughening toughening in situ polymerization method) and the related toughening mechanism are introduced.Finally,an outlook on future trends in toughening epoxy resin is put out.
