Abstract
OBJECTIVES To investigate the clinical effect of intraocular lens implantation through 5.5~ 6.0 mm lineal tunnel incision of limbus after cataract extraction.Methods lntraocular lens implantation was performed on 137eyes with senile cataracts through 5.5~6.0mm lineal tunnel incision of limbus,Comparing with large incision of cataract extraction.Results The visual acuity was 0.5 or better in 83.2% of eyes at one month postoperatively.The astigmatism is 0.90±0.43D at one month postoperatively.Comparing with large incision,there was significant difference.Conclusions The lineal tunnel incision has early visual acuity rehabilitation and induces less corneal postoperative astigmatism.
