Abstract
Objective To evaluate the change of ophthalmic hemodynamics resulting from smoking. Methods Ophthalmic hemodynamics were measured with color Doppler flow imagining in 16 asymptomatic healthy volunteers before and after smoking. Results ①The value of RI about central retinal artery was sinificantly increased after smoking( P 0.05 );②Hemodynamics of ophthalmic artery and posterior short ciliary artery were less influenced by smoking( P 0.05 ). Conclusion CDFI is proved to be an effective method in evaluation of ophthalmic hemodynamics.Smoking is thought to be relevent to retinal diseases. [
