Discussion on the Construction and Operating Management of Emergency Logistics System

Abstract

This paper discusses the origin,concept and characteristics of emergency logistics and presents some aspects for constructing emergency logistics system,such as management organization and mechanism,rescuing funds,technical support platform,construction of logistics center,purchase,transportation and storage of emergency materials,etc.Then,the basic frame for the operation of emergency logistics is constructed.The paper puts forward that,in order to guarantee the successful operation of emergency logistics,the role of governments of different levels,the construction of information systems and transportation infrastructure must be strengthened.
