Abstract

Zhang Ailing is one of the brilliant stars in Chinese literary world in the 1940s.She is good at applying exquisite and unique words and imagery situations to gather and witness the abnormal people and things in colonial society.The paper will have a detailed study on the artistic characteristics of Zhang Ailing's Novels from the four aspects——artistic reflection on common people and things,detailed descriptions,mournful and desolate aesthetic style and delicate imagery set.
