The Cause of Urban Traffic Congestion and Countermeasures in China

Based on the researches about current situation and cause and harm of urban traffic congestion problem in China,this report points out that discrepancy in rapidly increased traffic demand and limited traffic supply,unconscionable urban space arrangement,and inefficient traffic management are the underlying causes of the traffic problem.This report also gives countermeasures and suggestions on urban traffic congestion problem of China on account of advanced experiences of foreign countries.
