Abstract
[Objective] To investigate the clinicopathologic characteristics of solitary fibrous tumors.[Methods] The clinical features, pathologic patterns and immunophenotype were analysed for three cases of SFTs.[Results] Histologically,SFT was composed of bland spindle cell, typically arranged in haemangiopericytoma-like pattern.Positive immunoreactivity for vimentin,CD34 and bcl-2,negative for Cytokeratin(Pan),SMA,CD117 and S-100.[Conclusions] SFT is a rare tumor, differential diagnosis should be made with mesothelioma, hemangiopericytoma neurofibroma and others.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
