Mr.Zhang Kai-yuan's research on modern Chinese history covers various fields,including the ideological realm.He explores not only the relationship between thethinkingand theTimes,the psychological changes of the thinkers,but also the contemporary significance of modern thoughts.These studies reflect the deep insight of Mr.Zhang into the relationship between the thinking and the times and also show a consistent style of the historian:real,lofty,and fresh.
