On the Humanistic Idea in the Scientific Outlook on Development

Setting up a scientific outlook on development is an important strategic thought put forth by the CPC proceeding from the overall situation of the cause development of the Party and the State. People-orientedness, as the central idea of this outlook, different in essence from the humanism in the West and ancient China's idea of people being fundamental, inherits the pith and marrow of Marxist humanism, deepens the understanding of the laws of socialist construction and opens up a new realm for the power-wielding of the Communist Parties.
