The Influence of Marketization Degree on Regional Innovation Capability in China——Based on the Perspective of Unbalanced Development

Abstract

With the rapid development of economic globalization,innovation capability has become a decisive factor in measuring a country’s sustainability and international competitiveness.The key to promote regional development lies in the improvement of regional innovation capability and regional economic competitiveness.The improvement of regional innovation capability depends on good innovation environment.Only with good innovation environment,can we improve regional innovation capability effectively.Based on the unbalanced development of China’s regional economy,the paper analyzes the important factor of regional innovation-the influence of marketization degree on regional innovation capability by using provincial data of 31 provinces in 2009 and Poisson distribution model.Results show that marketization degree can promote regional innovation capability significantly.Therefore,the key to improve regional innovation capability is to further deepen the reform of market economy.
