Abstract
The technology of data warehouse,a comprehensive technology based on data management and usage,is designed for supporting management policy.Metadata is the data's data.Metadata describes every objects in the data warehouse,involes all aspects of data warehouse.Metadata and its management is the main part of database system.The article introduces the structure of the database system based on metadata and the realization of the metadata's management and the maintemance of metadata.
