Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the function of nursing intervention in improving the clinical effects and life quality for patients suffering from chronic gastric ulcer. Methods: The 78 patients with chronic gastric ulcer were randomly divided into observation and control groups with 39 cases in each. The pertinent nursing were given to the patients of observation group while the conventional nursing intervention to the cases of control group. The life and sleep qualities as well as nursing satisfaction of patients in both groups were investigated. Results: In the observation group, the total index of life quality after pertinent nursing was(0.94 ±0.17), among which the energy score was(1.03±0.08), the pain score(0.98±0.15), the emotional reaction score(0.41±0.1), the social isolation(0.50±0.02), the body activity(0.65±0.12); the sleep duration score was(0.54±0.08), the sleep quality score(0.35±0.05), the sleep efficiency score(0.47±0.10), the sleep obstacle score(0.17±0.01) and the daytime activities quality score(0.36±0.02);the differences of patients' score of nursing intervention in comparing observation group with control group mean(P0.05), the differences of patients' satisfaction in comparing observation group with control group had statistical meaning(P0.05). Conclusion: Compared with the conventional nursing methods, the pertinent nursing can significantly improve the therapeutic effect and patients' life qualities in the treatment of chronic gastric ulcer.
