Analysis of the Offensive and Defensive Performance of the Guards in Chinese Men's Basketball Team of Beijing Olympic Games

Abstract

This article use literatures、picture recordings、analyse and statistics investigated all six games in Beijing Olympic Game.The result reveals significant disadvantages of Chinese players in terms of shooting awareness and ball control compare to other prominent teams;Chinese guards' shooting attempts and accuracy were relative lower than their world-classed counterparts.Therefore,Chinese Men' sbasketball team should emphasize on guards' selection and training.
