Abstract

The extant seven vernacular poems written and published by Zhou Enlai during the period of the May 4th Movement are of u- nique value both for their contents and artistic,accomplishments.Although over 80 years have elapsed since their publication,we are deeply moved when reading these poems today.As some researchers put it,they represent important achievements of the New Cultural Movement.
