Abstract

This article gives an overview of the current status and prospects of sharp pointed areas relevant to agricultural biotechnology in China. It deals with the recent achievements of agricultural biotechnology in the development of new transgenic plant, animal and microbial products. It also deals with the problems of agricultural biotechnology development faced by China. At the same time it proposes suggestions and strategies for agricultural biotechnology development.
