Abstract

Tang Bin, who was born in the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, was the famous honest and clean mandarin and the great master of Neo-Confucianism in Shangqiu. All his life he learned from Zhu Xi in Learning and admired Tang Yu in politics.His philosophical thought stuck firmly to Cheng Zhu, and didn't despise Wang Shou-ren, either; it made a compromise between two schools of Cheng Zhu and Lu Wang. Exactly it is close to Lu Wang.It brought great impact and held the significant position on the history of Centrol Plains and Chinese culture.
