Abstract

AbstrcatA method was proposed for simultaneous determination of ofloxacin(OFL) and norfloxacin(NOR) in the presence of enoxacin(ENO) by combining excitation emission fluorescence spectrum with second-order calibration based on alternating trilinear decomposition algorithm. When the component number was set to 3, the obtained recoveries of OFL and NOR were (100.2±0.5)% and (98.2±0.4)% respectively; when the component number was 4, the obtained recoveries of OFL and NOR were (100.3±0.4)% and (98.4±0.5)% respectively. This method was applied to determine the quantities of OFL and NOR in pharmaceutical preparations with satisfactory results. It was shown that the proposed method could be applied to simultaneous direct determination of fluoroquinolones even in the presence of unknown interference(s).
