Abstract
The effect of temperature, shear rate and dosages of POE on rheological properties of polypropylene(PP)/ethylene-octene copolymer(POE) blends were investigated. Results showed that the PP/POE blends were pseudoplastic fluid. The viscosity of the blends was decreased slightly with the increasing of temperature, while the shear viscosity of the blends significantly reduced with the increasing of shear rate. The shear viscosity of the blends was increased with the increasing content of POE.In a certain amount of POE,viscous flow activation energy of the blends was decreased with the increasing of shear rate, while PP and POE had some compatibility.
