The concepts of moral in the West and in China can be divided into the broad-sense major moral education and minor moral education.However,some scholars think that in China moral contains the major moral education which includes only the of ideology,politics,morality and psychology,while in the West it refers only to morality education.It is of historical inevitability to lay stress on the moral in China.Some of the problems emerging in the new situation do not result from the improper concept of moral but from the lack of new connotations in the concept that accord with the characteristics of the times and have more vitality.At a time of social transition under the background of market economy,democratic politics and multi cultures,the adjustment of the contents of moral should give prominence to strengthening ideological through humanity education,strengthening political through citizen and strengthening morality through daily moralities.
