Abstract

Underwater glider is a new ocean observation platform. Through the analysis of the mechanical relationship,the layout of the buoyancy was studied in detail,then the advantages and disadvantages were analyzed when the buoyancy was arranged in the fore and aft part of the underwater glider. On the basis of the research,it was raised that the centre of the gravity and buoyancy remain unchanged when the buoyancy is arranged in the middle. It provides a reference for the design of the mechanism.
