Clinical analyses of class II malocclusion with Forsus fatigue resistant device

Abstract

Objective To study the effects on correcting class Ⅱ mandibular retrusion. Methods Twenty-six patients with class Ⅱ malocclusion were treated by Forsus Fatigue Resistant Device. The cephalometric analysis were used to evaluate the effects of treatment. Results The growth of mandibule was stimulated,lower incisors were proclined,overject were reduced and molar relationship were improved. Conclusion Forsus push rod appliances can achieve remarkable ettects of growth modificatiaon for mandibular retrusion.
