Abstract
Exploring and constructing independent research methods for ethnic education is the aspiration of those who devote to the promotion of the research and practice of ethnic education,and make hard efforts to have more say for the development of ethnic education.The research method for ethnic education since it came into being has been under three circumstances:to transplant and learn the traditional research methods of ethnics and education;to pursue a comparatively independent research method from the perspective of the discipline;and to pursue the reasonability of a multi-disciplinary research method.Conclusion:any method that can promote the research of ethnic education is supposed to be chosen,borrowed,or employed.
