Abstract

The development of vocational education in ethnic regions should go hand in hand with the changes of regional development.Due to the improper value orientation of vocational education in ethnic regions,there exist problems such as a large number of brain-drain among graduated students,a shortage of technical talents,difficulties in enrollment,and a weak adaptability of specialty setup to local conditions.Therefore,it is necessary to develop vocational education with characteristics based on ethnic unique traditional culture and local conditions.The characterized vocational education can cultivate talents willing to stay in ethnic regions,help ethnic regions transform economic development,alleviate poverty,promote sustainable development,protection and inheritance of traditional culture.It can also effectively balance the symbiotic relation between man and nature as well as that between man and culture so as to promote the building of a symbiotic ethnic education system.
