Abstract
The paper presents how the 10 t gantry crane and its main girder are designed and it gives full consideration to the use of the materials from the scrap crane,just for energy-saving.It also analyzes the main girder's strength and stiffness through the load calculation in various conditions to obtain the reasonable design parameters.
