Abstract
Staring with the introduction of the current situation of tourism in Jiangxi Province, this paper discusses its advantages in resources and geographical location, and the feasibility for promoting tourism in the province. Problems in tourism of the province include insufficient tapping of the potential, lack of individuality and poor management and service. Finally, this paper puts forward seven solutions: 1) making a provincial plan for tourism development; 2) taking advantage of the special features of the province; 3) training special tourism personnel; 4) utilizing foreign investment and advanced expertise; 5) improving infrastructure for tourism; 6) accelerating the restructuring of assets; 7) establishing the orientation of the role of the government for macroscopic regulation.
