Abstract
Different explants of alfalfa(Medicago Sativa L.)SANDITI seedling were cultured on the media of different phytohormone combinations. The results indicated that MS+24-D 2.0 mg/L +6-BA 0.5 mg/L medium was the best to induce callus with the highest induction frequency from hypocotyl.Reducing the concentrations of auxin and raising the concentrations of kinin was benefit for the reducing of browing rate. The calli from hypocotyls were cultured in liquid medium SH+24-D 1.0 mg/L+6-BA 0.5 mg/L+2 000 mg/L,somatic embryos appesred. The higher regeneration rate can be get from MS medium with 6-BA 0.5 mg/L,NAA 0.1 mg/L and GA3 1.0 mg/L.
