Abstract

Confucius is a wise man in history but he is a common art image in ancient Chinese novels, so there is a big difference of the image of Confucius between history and novels. The popularity of Confucius in novels has different culture characteristics, which is quite different from respect for Confucius and from disrespect for Confucius, which is the appearance of vivid civil ideas and the appreciation of the beautiful in seeking recreation of senses and indicates the recognizing and evolution in development of national culture.
