On Confucius' Political Thoughts by Analyzing Bamboo Slips in Shanghai Museum

Confucius pursued in his whole life the ideal political pattern in the Western Zhou period,publishing many political views on different occasions,which is an important source of the pre- Qin Confucian politics. The Analects of Confucius,as a representative of many Confucius records,hands down the political thought of him. With new unearthed literature,Confucius political thinking has gradually become a system with rich content. Through a comparative study of the hand- down books and unearthed books,this paper further analyzes Confucius political thought like his understanding of virtue,learning,and education,looking for modern clues to interpret the resources in a modernized way.
