Abstract
This paper studied a technology of extracting tea polyphenols from leaf of Indocalamus. It has dealt with extracting method and conditions of tea polyphenols;the tea polyphenols content was tested with spectrophotometer UV9200.The effects of solvent, extracting time, extracting temperature have been studied also. The optimum conditions for extracting tea polyphenols from leaf of Indocalamus were as follow:the mass percentage of alcohol 65%,extracting temperature 55 ℃,extracting time 4~5 h,and the ratio of solvent to the leaf 6~7(mL/g).Under these conditions, the yield of tea polyphenols was 0.68%.
