Study on Ethical Dimensions of Urban Transportation

Abstract

The connotation characteristics of transportation equity and ecological features are analyzed in urban transportation in this paper.Then the ethic connotation of urban transportation is discussed from urban transportation policy,traffic planning,engineering design and traffic organization management.This paper demonstrates that urban transportation operation not only need to abide by the generally accepted ethical code of ethics,but also must be giving attention to travel efficiency,transportation equity and ecological features,so that make the urban transportation conform to the ethical demands.
