An Overview of the Study on ZHANG Lei

Abstract

ZHANG Lei was one of the influential poets during the mid-late period of the Song Dynasty.But for a long time,he has been outshadowed,thus leading to the obscurity of his independence and significance.Rich achievements have been obtained in such aspects as textual criticism in his life career,the artistic features of his poems,collection of his poems,textual research of his poems in the aspect of truth and falsehood,etc.Anyway,research of Zhang Lei still has a bright prospect,waiting for scholars to discover and explore.
