Abstract
In consideration of the characteristics of the operation control of the Mid-route of the South-to-North Water Diversion, the existed inter-basin water diversion projects in China are summarized and analyzed in the aspects such as project construction, management mode, water price mechanism, operation rules etc.,from which the inspirations have been obtained that the construction process of the works associated with the project can be accelerated;the phase II project can be invested by the mode of advance receivable of water charge;the integrated management of both the construction and the operation can be implemented;the water price mechanism adaptable to the characteristics of the project can be further studied;and then the water can be supplied to the water import areas for agriculture and ecology during the wet year from the water-source areas;the reasonable water price sustainable for farmers can be made and the scientific and rational operation plan of the project can be established as well.
