Abstract
In this paper, the modified epoxy resin using methacrylic acid or acrylic acid was studied. The effect of initiator content, reaction temperature and time on modified reaction has been investigated by orthogonal design. The result show that the composite material of modified epoxy resin and woven glass fiber has an excellent mechanics properties when mass ratio of epoxy resin E-51 ,methacrylic acid(or acrylic acid) ,initiator and inhibitor is 100∶48(36)∶0.2∶0.3 and reaction temperature and reaction time is 110℃ and 6h respectively. The structure of modified epoxy resin was characterized by FTIR.
