Abstract
The slotted quartz tube and sulfhydryl cotton fiber is used to increase the sensitivity of conventional FAAS for the determination of micro-amount of Se in water. A slotted quartz tube is positioned on the top of a conventional atomic absorption burner. It is used in conjunction with an air-acetylene flame (lean) to increase the sensitivity for selenium. This method is simple and the cost is low. The results obtained for determination of Se are satisfactory. The recovery of Se is about 95~104%, RSD is 3.0% and the sensitivity is higher than that conventional FAAS about 2~3 order of magnitude.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
